The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA) in charge of programmes and operations, Nelson Owusu Ansah, has emphasized the vital role of youth engagement and collaboration in addressing climate change issues.

Ghana is in the process of developing its National Action Plan (NAP) as part of its commitment to the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2250, which calls for meaningful youth involvement in peace and security efforts.

Over the years, the National Youth Authority has worked tirelessly to provide education, skills development, and opportunity for young people through several pragmatic interventions, including the construction of youth resource centers.

A management team from the National Youth Authority led by the Head of Administration, Mr. Anaman Mensah on behalf of the CEO, yesterday 17th September, 2024 paid a working visit to the Axim Youth Resource Centre in the Western Region.
