International Youth Day 2018



National Youth Summit

A National Youth Summit will be held on the 10th of August 2018 at the Eusbett Hotel, Sunyani, Brong Ahafo Region to commemorate the year 2018’s International Youth Day Celebration under the Global theme: Safe Spaces for Youth.

Participating in the Summit are Three Hundred Young People draw from all Districts of the Country.

As part of events at the Summit, will be the launch of the National Youth Authority's Campaign on the End of the abuse of the drug Tramadol by young people on Friday 10th August 2018 and a Health Walk on Saturday the 11th of August, 2018 in Sunyani. 

 

 

 

 

The National Youth Authority (NYA) which was established in 1974 by NRDC 241 is thus the Statutory Public Organization with the mandate to ensure the empowerment of the Ghanaian youth and it is under the Ministry for Youth & Sports.
