The Bekwai Municipal Office of NYA, in collaboration with the Bekwai Youth Parliament and Ghana Health Service, have organized a Health Talk on Personal Hygiene for Hairdressers and Beauticians Association in the Bekwai Municipality, Amansie South and West Districts. Items like sanitary pads were given to the participants to help reduce menstrual poverty in the area. This is part of efforts to support registered youth groups in their personal development and the regional drive to ramp up the knowledge base of the adolescents on their reproductive health. The Office will continue to support registered youth groups in diverse areas of endeavours including capacity building for improved living standards.
