The Kintampo Municipal Directorate of the National Youth Authority has launched a local rendition of the Green Ghana Project.

The project is to be in three phases shall be as follows:

Phase one - planting of trees around School building's in Kintampo.

Phase two - planting of trees around all public offices in Kintampo.

Rainstorm is one of the main problem our schools are facing.  National Youth Authority, the able headmaster of Badariya and staff of the school and the Forestry Commission have come together to plant trees as wind breakers to help reduce the impact of rainstorms.

The launch took place on Sunday 6th June 2021 at the  Badariya Islamic School. In attendance was Ghana Scout Association, Kintampo SDA youth as well as some current and old  students of the school.
