Handing Over Ceremony at Youth Leadership and Skills Training Institute, Abura in the Western Region of Ghana
Continuing on his tour, the DCEO responsible for Programs and Operations, Mr. Nelson Owusu-Ansah again on behalf of the CEO Mr. Sylvester Tetteh handed over a 300-bed capacity dormitory to the Authorities of the Youth Leadership and Skills Training Institute at Abura in the Western Region to ease the issues of limited accommodation facilities confronting the students of the institute.
The dormitory is equipped with 10 water closets, a sizeable bathroom to contain 21 people at a time and an ironing and washing bay.
Mr. Owusu-Ansah in his address strongly advised the Principal on the need for the institute to observe all the safety precautionary measures to help curtail the spread of COVID-19 amongst the students as they reopen and urged him to remain committed to the ideals of the Authority and keep the facility in a good shape.
The Principal thanked the management of the Authority for the dormitory and promised to keep the facility in a good shape. She assured the DCEO that strict measures will be put in place to help stop the spread of the deadly pandemic confronting the nation as the school reopens.
