Every young person should take advantage of the free National Apprenticeship Program -NYA CEO tells youth

The Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Mr. Osman Abdulai Ayariga Esq., has urged Ghanaian youth to take advantage of the free National Apprenticeship Program, during his remarks at a Stakeholder Town hall meeting on Apprenticeship and Youth Welfare in Accra.

The event hosted by the Member of parliament for Klottey- Korle Constituency, Dr. Zenator Agyeman -Rawlings aimed at providing a platform for dialogue on the challenges faced by apprentices and trainers, exploring actionable solutions to improve the structure, impact and sustainability of the apprenticeship ecosystem in Ghana.

Mr. Ayariga at the meeting highlighted on the overview of the National Apprenticeship Program which is yet to be implemented by the NYA and addressed all questions from the stakeholders.

He commended His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for this great initiative which will go a long way to tackle youth unemployment and equip young people with skills and opportunities for economic empowerment
