NYA CEO Reaffirms Commitment to Youth Development at IYES Ghana 2025

The Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Mr. Osman Abdulai Ayariga Eaq., has reaffirmed the Authority's commitment to empowering young people through skills training, capacity-building programs, and infrastructure development.

Speaking at the International Youth Empowerment Summit (IYES) Ghana 2025, Mr. Ayariga outlined key initiatives by the NYA aimed at addressing youth unemployment and fostering innovation. He emphasized that the Authority’s doors are open to all youth-related programs and partnerships that align with its mission of equipping young people with the necessary tools to succeed.

He announced that NYA is currently building youth centers nationwide to serve as hubs for training and mentorship. Additionally, an upcoming program will focus on providing hands-on training in vocational and technical skills, ensuring that young people gain practical knowledge for sustainable livelihoods.

Mr. Ayariga also extended an invitation to individuals willing to volunteer in NYA-led programs, highlighting the importance of mentorship and guidance in shaping the next generation of leaders.

IYES Ghana, an annual summit dedicated to inspiring and empowering the youth, brings together prominent speakers, industry leaders, and policymakers to engage with young people on personal development, leadership, and entrepreneurship. The event continues to be a crucial platform for equipping Ghana’s youth with the skills and mindset needed to drive positive change.
