NYA Boss Backs Youth Innovation Under National Business Agenda

The Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Mr. Osman Ayariga, has thrown his weight behind youth-driven enterprise, stressing the need for policies that empower young people socially, economically, and politically. He made this known during the launch of the National Business Agenda in Accra. Mr. Ayariga highlighted the alignment between NYA’s mandate and the Agenda’s goals, emphasizing that initiatives like YoFEP and STEP, championed by the Ghana Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs (GCYE), are key to job creation and innovation. He said empowering youth is critical to unlocking Ghana’s economic potential. He further called for greater collaboration between public institutions and private stakeholders to scale youth entrepreneurship support systems. “Young people must be given the right tools, platforms, and opportunities to lead the change,” he added.
