Management of NYA Inspects Axim Youth Resource Centre

A management team from the National Youth Authority led by the Head of Administration, Mr. Anaman Mensah on behalf of the CEO, yesterday 17th September, 2024 paid a working visit to the Axim Youth Resource Centre in the Western Region.

The visit was to ascertain the state and progress of ongoing works at phase two (2) of the project.

Briefing the team, the contractor of the project Mr. Bismark Obuobi of Bismats Enterprise Limited disclosed that the work is about 95% complete and will hand over the project to NYA before the end of October

According to the project site engineer, Mr. Augustine Quansah, the remaining major work left is the landscaping, internal cleaning, and painting which can be dealt with in less than a month for the project to be handed over.

In his remarks, however, Mr. Anaman Mensah expressed his disappointment at the slow pace of work. He demanded the contractor’s work plan and charged the consultant to ensure the contractor completed the work as scheduled.

Also on site was the Head of Finance at the National Youth Authority, Mr.Baba Osman, and the Western Regional Director of NYA, Mr.Edwin Amponsah.
