NYA calls on Technical Committee for the formation of GYF

The National Youth Authority (NYA) has called on the technical committee for the formation and launch of the Ghana Youth Federation (GYF).

According to the NYA Act 2016, the Ghana Youth Federation is a union of youth groups designed to support the NYA in reaching it goals and to ensure that young people have meaningful voice in governance and development.

At the meeting, the CEO of NYA, Mr. Osman Ayariga tasked the committee to work assiduously due to the short space of time in order to form and launch the federation in the next two months.

He commended the committee for their hard work over the years and stressed on the importance of having broader stakeholders as part of the mechanisms for youth development.

The committee outlined the overview of the GYF and it's formation attempt to the CEO of NYA and reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to championing youth *empowerment.
