Operations and Programs Director at the National Youth Authority (NYA), Archibald Donkoh has hailed the volunteers selected to represent Ghana at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games as the fulcrum for Ghana's presence on the global stage.
In his address, Mr. Donkor emphasized the indispensable role of these volunteers, not only as ambassadors of Ghanaian youth but also as agents of change and positivity. He spoke during a pre-departure training program organized for the 2024 Olympic Games Ghanaian volunteers, held at France Volontaires Ghana.
During the training, volunteers expressed their gratitude for the program's benefits. Forgive Dorgbefu shared how the program broadened her understanding of volunteerism's impact on both personal and national levels and Bernice Dzitoruoko highlighted the social opportunities and networking benefits that volunteering offers.
Anthony D. Boakye reflected on his personal growth, citing improvements in communication skills and a deeper understanding of other cultures as key benefits of the program.
