YOUTH AT ASUOGYAMAN UNDERGO BASIC SKILLS DEVELOPMENT TRAINING
The Asuogyaman District Secretariat of the National Youth Authority in the Eastern Region has organized and sponsored a free training programme aimed at empowering the youth with self-employment generating skills for sustainable livelihoods.
The programme which is in line with object (a) of the NYA Act (939) to develop the creative potentials of the youth, had 58 female and 2 male beneficiaries.
The beneficiaries undertook training in pastries making, cocktails (varied types of juices), bisah, smoothies etc.
Beneficiaries also had training in basic book keeping, savings, marketing and branding techniques.
